These are the bags I made for our teachers!
I couldn't decide which one I like more, I think I like both equally! I tell you what, that new walking foot likes to sew plastic, its so much easier.

The quilt you made is gorgeous - I love it, and the poem is perfect.
The bags look great. I really love the red and white spots one but then again, I do have a weakness for polka dot fabrics.
